Privacy Policy

In short: Your campaign is yours. We store it to run the Service for you, we never sell it, and we never use it to train AI. You can export everything or delete your account at any time from your account page.

This Privacy Policy explains how Lacuna, LLC ("Lacuna", "we", "us") handles information when you use LoomHold (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email and basic profile. We use it to identify your account.
Your campaign content. The records, notes, images, and other content you create in the Service. This is yours.
Usage for billing. For Pro accounts, we count AI actions per month to enforce your plan's allowance. We do not keep the contents of those AI requests beyond what is needed to generate the response.
Feedback. If you send a suggestion or bug report, we store the message you wrote.
Basic analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand traffic. It is cookieless and does not track you across sites or build a profile of you.

2. How we use information

We use it to provide and maintain the Service, to process subscriptions, to respond to support and feedback, to keep the Service secure, and to improve it. That is all.

3. AI features

When you use an AI feature (recaps, statblock generation, the live-session assistant), the relevant parts of your campaign are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the response you asked for. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train AI models.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small set of providers to run the Service, each handling only what they need to:

Clerk — account sign-in and subscription management.
Stripe (via Clerk) — payment processing. We never see or store your card details.
Neon — the database that stores your account and campaign content.
Vercel — application hosting and cookieless analytics.
Anthropic — AI processing for the AI features you choose to use.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies, set by Clerk to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics is cookieless.

6. Data retention and security

We keep your content while your account is active so the Service works for you. Data is encrypted in transit, and each account's content is isolated to that account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Your choices and rights

Export. Download your entire vault (Markdown plus images) from your account page at any time.
Delete. Delete your account from your account page. This permanently removes your campaigns, images, usage records, and feedback from our database.
Access and correction. You can view and edit your content directly in the Service, and update your email through your account.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you where appropriate.
